The enormous popularity of e-books in last year led to slight sale drop of paper books and massive increase of e-book sales in 2011 as spotted by the Publishers Weekly Financial report. The first half of 2012 experienced bookish boom thanks to Fifty Shades Trilogy - book's popularity led to sale increase both in paper and digital sectors (according to Bookseller).
The fastest growing book segments are YA and children's books as well as adult fiction, especially in e-version.
